"Even though almond milk has been around for some time, plenty of cafes still struggle at perfecting an almond latte. I have been to Calypso more times than I can count to grab an almond latte, which the owner Jenny, never fails to ace. Always perfect temperature, perfect coffee to milk ratio, and ridiculously creamy.

They also have a "build your own" salad option that's of such good value it probably beats buying the groceries and doing it yourself. Huge servings and so delicious!

Got to be the best option for healthy eats between Maroubra and La Pa. Only cafe that does consistently good coffee in the area too accompanied with super friendly staff."

"My day does not start right if I don't get a coffee from Cafe Calypso in the morning. Absolutely the best coffee in the Eastern Suburbs in my opinion and has totally saved me during work from home, lockdown and the pandemic. When ever I'm feeling bored or flat, I think thank goodness for Cafe Calypso and their lovely creamy lattes. Their service is always friendly and coffee is turned around quickly, and they are always open!!! (Tip: best thing on Christmas Day morning to get a coffee from Calypso! Yey!) My sons also love the bacon and egg rolls :)"
