We looooove bananas here in Australia and here’s the secret to making the best banana smoothie! 

Bananas, when left outside the fridge, become ripe. Its skin becomes black and it starts to produce a pungent banana smell. This is when bananas are best eaten as it is nice and sweet. When peeled, the inside is perfectly white and delicious!​​

Here’s the secret to extending the life of your riped bananas. Put it in the fridge! By doing so, it will stop the ripening process. This will give it another 3-4 days of life. Just don’t put unripe bananas in the fridge though!​

After this time, if you want to store bananas for even longer or to make great smoothies with, put it in the freezer. Just peel the skin off first!​
